I just have to mention…my continuous brewer is going full blast and I’m bottling about 4 bottles every 3 days or so. Yahoo Kombucha. I even put some KT into my protein smoothie and it’s so yummy. What other ways have you found to use your KT?

Kombucha Kamp Challenge 1 month agoBooch is bottled and fermenting on the counter for a few days… drank some and it’s nice and tart… flavored bottles with Passion Hibiscus herbal tea and Yerba Mate Chai. Kombucha Kamp Challenge 1 month, 1 week agoWoohoo…my 2 gallon continuous brew is just beginning to grow a scoby…AND…I was able to grow my own scoby using GT original … Now I have a batch system started and a continuous system….kombucha…here I come.

NICE!!! I put a heating pad next to my jars and my first skoby really took off when I did that. It’s exciting isn’t it!!!

Yeah, I stuck the home grown scoby one in the closet with the hot water tank as it’s nice and warm in there..think that helped
The continuous brew is in my kitchen and taking longer..probably because it’s a larger volume (2 gallons ) and my house isn’t the warmest…still waiting to get my heating system from Hannah, but glad to see…[Read more]

Mine too I checked Ph yesterday and it’s down to 3.0 but still REALLY sweet… smells nice and sour though and not near enough carbination but from what I’ve read that comes more with the bottling.

Yes – the pH only indicates that your brew is protected from invasion by other harmful organisms. Taste is king – let your tongue tell you when the KT is ready.
